INERSON® Ointment

Composition

Each gram ointment contains :

Desoximetasone                      2.5 mg

Actions

INERSON® contains Desoximetasone, a corticosteroid with antiphlogistic, antipruritic effects.

Indications

Various types of eczema, dermatitis and psoriasis.

Contraindications

• Patients hypersensitive to Desoximetasone.
• Skin reaction due to vaccinations, dermal tuberculous.
• Skin infections caused by virus.

Adverse Reactions

Prolonged use of corticosteroid preparation may cause hypopigmentation, dermal atrophy and striae.

In rare cases, skin irritation may occur such as itching and burning.

Precautions/Warning

1.      Not recommended for opthalmic use.

2.      Do not use pregnant women in large amounts or for prolonged periods.

3.      If irritation develops, topical corticosteroid should be discontinued.

4.   If therapy is applied to large areas of the body and for long periods of time, systemic effects of the corticosteroid may occur due to skin absorption.

Dosage And Administrations

A thin layer should be applied to cover the affected area 2-3 times daily.
